Gwendolyn & my fitness journey!

Well my niece was born April 30th 6lbs 9oz and GORGEOUS!! I am so in love with her!
I really am truly happy for the arrival of this little miracle. She is a blessing to her family and everyone around her. With the arrival of little Gwendolyn I have now officially become the last person i know (personally know like friends and such) who isnt pregnant or already have a child. Sometimes it REALLY gets me down. And other times I realize that when we finally get our little rainbow baby, he/she will be one of the only lil ones around at that time and will get TONS of attention! Not to mention hand me downs! I have to try and look at the positives in things or I will go CRAZY!!

I have also starting my getting fit journey! I am not calling it a weight loss journey, even though I want to lose weight. Because that is not my overall goal, my goal is to just get healthy! To be comfortable in my own skin again. I am watching what i eat now more than ever. We have tried to move to more all natural foods and products. I am also exercising as much as I can. Usually this is about 1-2 mile walk in the morning 3-5 times a week, as well as elliptical training for 10-20 mins a day. I know its not much, but it is a LOT more than I was doing before. The first step to getting fit is getting off the couch!! This is only week 2 of my journey but I already feel so much better! I am not as tired in the morning. And I feel like I have more energy throughout the day!! I am waiting on the arrival of my new double jogging stroller so I can take my 2 early daycare kids on the walk with me in the early morning!! Should be here by FRIDAY!! WAHOO!!
